Bible Reading: Psalm 16:1-11
Sermon text: Acts 13:13-41
The gospel message is not a self-help program or finding your inner peace and potential. It is not about good people trying their best to become better people so that, when they die, they rest in peace and become shining stars in the sky. The gospel message is that the forgiveness of sin is found in the Lord Jesus Christ, and everyone who trusts in Him are justified before God, and they receive God’s gracious gift of salvation and eternal life.
